We are delighted to share some happy news from Panthera Belize, an NGO dedicated to the conservation of the wild cats of Belize.  Last winter, Panthera Belize set up trail cameras around the Mayflower Bocawina National Park to monitor the wildlife and they were able to capture some amazing wildlife footage, including the jaguars.

If you’re planning your travel route around Belize a flight can often be the best option in terms of convenience and price. There are currently two companies that offer domestic flights within Belize: Tropic Air and Maya Island Air.

This week on May 23rd, World Turtle Day was celebrated around the world. It’s the perfect time of year to learn more about these incredible species and raise awareness on turtle conservation. Belize is home to 3 species of sea turtle; the loggerhead, green, and hawksbill turtles. In Belize, sea turtle nesting season runs from May through to September.
