The Ts’unu’un Pok-ta-Pok Ball Court was created as part of the Belize Tourism Board’s (BTB) efforts to safeguard Maya heritage and promote tourism in northern Belize.  The ball court is located at Jardín Pachamama on the Yo Creek - San Lazaro Road in the Orange Walk District.

Happy Independence Day! Belize is turning 41  “Wave fi wi rag, Wave fi wi flag”! It’s time to celebrate in Belize!  (Translation: “Wave our rag, Wave our flag”) On September 21, 1981 - only 41 years ago, Belize, the only British colony in Central America became an independent nation. On this day each year, Belizeans gather throughout the country (and worldwide) to celebrate the country’s independence, history, culture, and people of this beautiful nation.
