A message from the Director of the Belize Zoo

A NEW YEAR, A NEW BEGINNING

A message from the Belize Zoo & Tropical Education Center

After over two long and challenging pandemic years, 2022 saw the return of some normalcy in all walks of life here at the Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center. It was such a delight to hear the chatter and excitement of Belizean school-children once again in the Zoo. We continued to welcome back international and local visitors alike both at the Zoo and over at the Tropical Education Center.

Why travel experiences are the new "it thing" when it comes to holiday gifting

This Holiday Season Gift Experiences, Not Things

This holiday season, make sure you gift experiences and not things.

Gifting experiences provide lasting memories, allow for unique bonding experiences, and can even be a source of personal growth. When we think about the things that we cherish the most, it's often the experiences we've had and the memories we've made, rather than the material possessions we own.

The Belize Zoo critters need YOU

The Belize Zoo (The Best Little Zoo In The World) needs YOUR help!

Last Wednesday, November 2, Hurricane Lisa reached Belize, and while all our Island Expeditions locations were spared by the strong winds and heavy rains, the Belize Zoo & Tropical Education Center was severely impacted as they were right on the path of the storm.
