After your arrival in Belize City, you'll make your way to the town of Dangriga. There, a driver will pick you up and take you to Bocawina, our eco-lodge located in the heart of the Mayan rainforest.

A cold drink awaits at the bar. Stroll the property and take in your surroundings. You might run into our resident guinea hens! Settle into your room, or if you’re feeling adventurous, the Bocawina waterfalls are only a 20 minute hike away!

There is wifi in your room and all common areas, and the restaurant with a fully stocked bar is only a short walk from your room. All meals are included, so just be sure to have some extra cash to tip your bartender!

Rainforest Adventure

Tea and coffee starts at 6:30am, and breakfast is ready for whenever you feel like getting out of bed. But hey, no time to sleep in... you have an active day ahead!

After breakfast you will hike and rappel Antelope Falls. The excursion takes approximately 4 hours, and will see you completing a challenging hike that gains elevation before roping up and rappelling down the face of the waterfall! For the faint of heart, we have smaller lines set up to rappel down.

After lunch, cruise our 9 line zipline course through the jungle canopy! The course totals 2.5 miles of tree time, the longest line coming in at 2300 feet. After this 2 hour tour, kick back with a beer in the hammock before tucking into a well-earned supper. Fall asleep dreaming of what tomorrow will bring.

Hello Paradise!

Enjoy one last breakfast in the rainforest before our driver takes you back to Dangriga. From there, a boat will whisk you out to your new home on the water, Tobacco Caye Paradise.

You’ll find everything you need in our idyllic ocean cabanas. Watch rays and tropical fish swim by from your deckside hammock. This island is your basecamp for as much (or as little) kayaking, snorkeling and SUPing that you desire. All the gear that you’ll need is included in your booking price!

You’ll get the full Belizean experience at Paradise with home-cooked meals and a welcoming staff of locals. Watch the sunset each evening at the beachside bar right next door, and fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping the shore.

Explore The Barrier Reef

Another day of exploration awaits. The Belize Barrier Reef is the 2nd biggest in the world, and the opportunities for discovery are endless. The island locals will point you to the best patch reefs to explore, and the only thing left to do will be to don a mask and fins.

A reef protected lagoon extends just beyond your cabana, perfect for practicing your kayak skills or trying a SUP for the first time!

If you opt to pay a local to take you out fishing, the ladies in the kitchen will happily cook up your catch of the day!

All Good Things Come To An End

Rise with the sun, grab a cup of hot coffee, and take it all in. It’s hard to believe the trip is coming to a close already! After breakfast, say your goodbye-for-nows to your new friends before hopping on the boat back to the mainland.

If your time in Belize is truly coming to a close, the next step will be to make you way back to the Belize International Airport. Otherwise, we will do our best to help you make the connection to your next adventure!
