The Glover Getaway is a 3 day/2 night adventure on remote Glover’s Reef Atoll, a protected marine park and designated world heritage site thirty-six miles off the shore of mainland Belize.

Perfect for active families and couples of mixed abilities, this adventure Basecamp offers flexibility and choices in daily guided activities, so traveling companions can do things together or separately. Ideal for those wanting a shorter island Basecamp adventure; combines well with independent travel. • Spend 2 nights at a unique, luxury Basecamp on Southwater Caye, a remote 13 acre island. Sleep in comfortable tent-walled cabanas and dine on fresh seafood, tropical fruit and local fare. • Kayak, SUP and snorkel amongst Glover’s tropical islands and 700 patch reefs.

Itinerary Summary

Day 1 – Early morning boat charter to Glover’s Reef. Intro to sea kayaking and ocean touring, then we head out to explore the protected lagoon and turquoise waters.
Day 2 – Explore Glover’s Reef atoll, home to 700 patch reefs and snorkel sites.
Day 3 – One last kayak or snorkel this morning before our motor charter transports us back to the mainland.

As an experienced outdoorsman from Canada I have a strong bond with nature and wished to learn that same respect for Belize in general and the reefs in particular. I did, thanks to your team..take only photos, leave only footprints. 

They certainly did show care and concern above and beyond. They all took immense, but humble pride in demonstrating the skills and attitudes necessary to respect nature at its finest.
