May 18-20, 2018
Punta Gorda, Toledo
Celebrate chocolate and the unique cultural and environmental diversity of the Toledo District of Belize. The Chocolate Festival of Belize started life in 2007 as the Toledo Cacao Festival. The Toledo District is recognized for its superior cacao beans, which are also a significant national export crop in Belize.
This three-day celebration of Belizean chocolate is filled with family activities, music, dancing and of course decadent chocolate foods and desserts to try. The Chocolate Festival is celebrated every Commonwealth Day Holiday Weekend (late May).
June 2-3, 2018
During this free, two-day festival, enjoy mango-themed foods, authentic Garifuna food, browse locally made arts and crafts, while hearing the musical talent of Hopkins as well as other talented artists from around Belize and the world.
Hopkins is a blessed with an abundance of good food and is quickly becoming a culinary destination. During the festival, you can sample such delights as mango chimole, chicken kebabs with mango salsa, ceviche, mango chutney, mango smoothies as well as non-mango food items.
The festival will also feature live music throughout the day that showcases the best of Belize and of Hopkins. Plan on hearing Paranda music (Belize’s version of the blues,) Caribbean rhythms, Reggae, and much more.
June 15, 2018 – June 23, 2018
Central Park, Ambergris St, San Pedro
The San Pedro Lobster Festival is an annual event that celebrates the reopening of lobster season in Belize. Enjoy this 10 day festival filled with over music, activities and incredible lobster themed foods!
The festival kicks-off on June 15 with the opening party. There will be daytime and night time events leading up to the Lobster Fest Central Park Block Party on Saturday, June 24, featuring the Pannerifix Steel Band!

August 2-4, 2018
San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
This is the biggest festival in Belize, as well as the highlight of Ambergris Caye's entertainment year. The first day of the festival begins with a beauty pageant to select the Miss Costa Maya International. Then, enjoy a week filled with Punta, reggaeton, reggae, ballads, and salsa mixed with some marimba, steel pan, and mariachi music. Sunday is the final day of the festival with more cultural shows, exhibitions, comedy acts, food, fun, and games, plenty of live music and an all-night dance that caps off the ceremony.
