This itinerary does not follow a set ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE schedule. Bookings are dependant on availability at Bocawina Rainforest & Resort and Tobacco Caye Paradise.
End Location: Islands Dock, Dangriga MAP OF DANGRIGA
Note: If planning to fly internationally on the same day that the trip ends, your flight must be 3:00PM or later. You will require a 15 min flight from Dangriga (DGE) to Belize International (BZE). Book directly with Maya Island Air or ask a trip planner for options.
Transfer Details:
Belize City to Dangriga: 15 min—FLY
Dangriga to Bocawina Resort: 30 min—DRIVE
Dangriga to Tobacco Caye: 30min —BOAT
Communicating Once You've Arrived in Belize
Once you have arrived in the country, all communication transfers to our local team in Belize. If you need anything at all you can call our Dangriga office during regular business hours.

NOTE: The Belize International Airport (BZE) is easy to navigate. Expect the arrival process to take about an hour. Please be advised that the porters in the arrivals area are not employed by the Airport Authority. They charge for their services and can be pushy—you are not obligated to use their services!
Airport Sequence: Land in Belize > Go Through Immigration > Claim Your Luggage > Clear Customs > Option #1: Follow your own pre-arranged travel plans leading up to the start of this itinerary. Option #2: Check-in at Maya Island Air for flight to Dangriga (if you are starting the itinerary immediately upon arrival into the country.)
