Note: International flights leaving Belize must be booked for the following day.
Important Information – Shuttle to the ferry terminal from the Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel
The private shuttle that leaves from the lobby of the Belize Biltmore Plaza is for all Island Expeditions guests regardless of whether you’re staying at the hotel or not. For those taking taking the shuttle, a stop will be made at a large grocery/home store en route to the ferry terminal.
Important Information – Guests who are meeting us directly at the ferry terminal
The boat charter to Lighthouse Reef departs from the dock directly beside the main ferry terminal (Belize San Pedro Express Water Taxi Terminal). Inside the main terminal there are snack shops and coffee.

Once you have arrived in the country, all communication transfers to our local team in Belize. If you need anything at all you can call our Dangriga office during regular business hours.

The Belize International Airport (BZE) is easy to navigate. After immigration, you collect your bags and move through the customs area. The whole process can take up to an hour. Please be advised that porters are not employed by the Airport Authority and can be pushy—you are not obligated to use their services. It is a very short distance to where you need to get to next.
