Like all the marine activities we offer, no previous experience is required for kayak sailing. Our guides will teach you everything you need to know! Our tandem boats are fitted with a centre bar running along the floor, providing a secure base for the sail mast. A sheet rope acts as your accelerator, while foot-operated rudder pedals allow you to steer. Perfectly sized for our kayaks, the sails need only a light breeze to get you going. Before long, your paddle will be stowed and you’ll be gliding across the lagoon using one of humanity’s oldest forms of ocean travel.

One fascinating fact about Belize’s atolls—particularly Glover’s Reef—is that these remote waters were once frequented by pirates and privateers. Today, we follow in their wake, sailing our kayaks across the same turquoise waters as they did way back in the 18th century.
