we offer a price break to families with children. Not all
trips are suitable for younger children, however we find that
age is not a definite restriction; rather size and weight
of your children, experience and ability are the main determining
factors in choosing which trip is right for your family.

Reef Adventure basecamp trips are most popular with families,
particularly over the Christmas and March break holiday season.
With the basecamp, our daily activities are organized and
return to our main camp each day, these trips offer the most
flexibility in terms of which acitivities each family member
chooses to participate in on a daily basis.
 Snorkeling,
sea kayaking, flyfishing for
bonefish, intertidal exploration and scuba are all popular
family adventure options. And as always, on an Island Expeditions adventures,
we are doing far more than just sightseeing. Our team of guides
are experts in their fields so that you and your kids can
experience these world class destinations in a unique and
special way. Our marine biologists open up the wonders of
the underwater world of coral reefs and tropical fish.
Explore the underwater world with our unique Sea-Breathe diving
system. Learn of the ways of the sea and Garifuna culture
from our Belizean guides and by the end of your trip you will
be confident paddling, sailing and snorkeling from a sea kayak.
For families with older kids or those who have experience
with wilderness camping and expedition travel, any of our
