At
IEC we enjoy traveling with families. Children lend a refreshing
perspective to the experience, which adults sometimes take
for granted. Knowing that travel budgets are especially important
we offer a price break to families with children. Not all
trips are suitable for younger children, however we find that
age is not a definite restriction; rather size and weight
of your children, experience and ability are the main determining
factors in choosing which trip is right for your family.
Our Glovers Reef and Mayan
Caves and Lighthouse
Reef Adventure basecamp trips are most popular with families,
particularly over the Christmas and March break holiday season.
With the basecamp, our daily activities are organized and
return to our main camp each day, these trips offer the most
flexibility in terms of which acitivities each family member
chooses to participate in on a daily basis.
Snorkeling,
sea kayaking, windsurfing, flyfishing  for
bonefish, intertidal exploration and scuba are all popular
family adventure options. And as always, on an Island Expeditions adventures,
we are doing far more than just sightseeing. Our team of guides
are experts in their fields so that you and your kids can
experience these world class destinations in a unique and
special way. Our marine biologists open up the wonders of
the underwater world of coral reefs and tropical  fish.
