Suggested Belize Itineraries:

When most people think about Belize, they think of the azure waters of the caribbean, with palm-spotted islands. Although, most people chose Belize because of its sea kayaking, diving, and snorkeling options, we have found people are very surprised at the variety that Belize's inland can offer.

We have put together a few itinerary suggestions for our guests that want to stay on for an extra few days in Belize. There, of course, are many places to explore in Belize, and the combinations are endless, but we have put together a few suggestions for people traveling to Belize for their first time.

Most people that travel with us, either land in Belize on Day 0 of their trip, or arrive a day earlier. When doing so, we suggest staying at the Belize Biltmore Plaza. This is a clean, comfortable place to arrive into Belize, and get acclimatized. We would be happy to book this for you, and can get you a discounted rate on your stay at the hotel. Please contact our office for details.

Probably the most popular addition to our trips is to go to the Cayo District. Usually, this requires an extra two to four days to take it in properly. Staying at Pooks Hill Lodge, combined with a day underground to Actun Tunichil Muknal is a popular option for guests taking our Glovers Reef & River of Caves itinerary. An excellent 3 day option would be to then travel on to the Mayan Ruins of Caracol. Pooks Hill will be happy to provide transportation back to Belize City for a resonable cost. Contact our office for details.

Many of our guests tend to go for an extra day to the village of Hopkins or Placencia, too. There are a number of wonderful lodges along the coast which can cater to your every whim. You will need at least
