Optional Hotel and Transfer Package
Our optional end of trip Hotel and Transfer Package is arranged through our office before you depart and is paid for in Belize. This package is designed for those who will be returning home the day after the trip finishes and will need a hotel and transfer to the airport. These services which vary depending on the trip from $40 US to $80 US per person based on double occupancy are not included in the trip price so that those who are traveling independently after the trip or continue with us on a trip extension are not charged for services which are not required. For those who are continuing on with another trip or traveling on your own please call us, we will be happy to help you plan your itinerary. Reservations and Trip Information Our travel season is designed to take advantage of the 'best weather conditions' which often correspond with very busy travel times. Group size is limited to 10 or 16 people depending on the trip, departures fill quickly and international flights book up. To begin the process all you need to do is call. Talk with an Island Expeditions Co. travel representative or field leader and you'll be on your way to a world of adventure. Once you have chosen the trip that is right for you, registration is done by phone and fax or phone and mail. Once your signed registration form is received and your deposit is receipted, your dates are confirmed. Additional registration forms are available from our office or simply photocopy the form as you require. Next you will receive your pre-trip information package by mail, complete with back ground information on your destination, articles on wildlife, ecology etc., flight information, what to bring and how to pack. This package will help ready you for your adventure. Also included in your package will be a medical condition form and release of liability which you will need to complete, sign and return to our office. Then, working together we will help you to find the airline that offers your best flight option. Two weeks before your departure you will receive all trip rendezvous details by mail. The week prior, your Island Expeditions representative will call you and answer any last-minute questions. Flight Arrangements Whether traveling independently or with Island Expeditions Co., on request, we can provide you with your flight and travel options. We are experienced in finding the best airfares and will be pleased to assist you. Payment Deposits can be made by cheque, credit card, or money order and are payable to Island Expeditions Co. A $200.00 deposit per trip is required to reserve your space. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. When reserving a place on a trip within 60 days of departure, final payment is due upon receipt of your pre-trip information package. We ask that final payments are made by cheque, as this helps us maintain our excellent "adventure value". |
