Cave tubing is an activity that has become extremely popular in Belize over the last few years. Unique to Belize, the caves branch river is a subteranian creek which weaves in and out of the surface of the earth. Each bend exposing impressive caverns, mica-studded stalactities and stalagmites, and remenants of the anceint maya who used to explore these caves over a 1,000 years ago.

The most popular way to explore this unique river sytem is by inner tube, where we float slowly through the caves system. Donned with swimsuit, good footwear and a headlamp, we ford accross the Caves branch river, and hike upstream to the thrid cave, accessed in approximately 30 minutes walk, returning back to the starting point in approximately 2 hours.
